Gorilla Combat is a affiliated School of the Thai-Boxing Association of the USA,the oldest and largest Muay Thai organization in the United States, which was founded in 1968 by Grandmaster "Chai" Sirisute.

Gorilla Combat becomes a member of WKA The World Kickboxing Association the largest organization of its kind, with over 90 countries in its membership.The WKA has sanctioned events in Japan, Hong Kong, Korea, Australia, Mexico, South America, Europe, and Canada, as well as throughout the United States.

Caleb Travino (Head Instructor)

- Muay-Thai Boxing (level 6): 17 years experience with amateur and professional bouts.

- Traditional Boxing (level 3): 11 years experience with amateur bouts.

- Self–Defense / Haganah Combative Tactics (level 2): 6 years experience.

Caleb has competed in Pro and Amateur Thai Boxing and American Boxing matches in Amsterdam and in San Francisco. He has been professionally trained in Muay~Thai, Haganah (Self-Defense Applications & Tactics), and in Boxing. Muay-Thai Boxing, Boxing and Self-Defense / Combative's are his training specialties, he instructs non-competitors (public), amateurs and professional fighters. He also conducts Self-Defense workshops; Women, Men and the Traveling Professional, as well as other special groups.

Sensei Alex Avedikian

JUDO Sensei Avedikian is a 2nd Degree Black Belt and Level I Certified Coach and Instructor with the United States Judo Association. Alex started his twenty-five year judo career at the age of thirteen in Fort Myers, Florida. After almost five years of training under Shihan Sensei Don Rosenthal, Alex got his Black Belt at the age of eighteen. Alex has been an active tournament player, coach and instructor in MN for the last sixteen years, teaching for Northstar Martial Art’s, The Y-Judo Kai, the Chaska Community Center and Three Moons Studios. Alex has medaled in statewide, regional, and national tournaments (including 1st place in the 2005 AAU nationals) Alex also coached his students in national competition at the 2003 Junior Olympics in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

 

 

Mark Teubert

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Submission Grappling, Youth Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Instructor.

A former Marine, has 15 years of martial arts experience in the varied areas of karate, TKD, kickboxing, jiu-jitsu and submission grappling.
Mark has participated in multiple TKD and grappling tournaments as well as in amateur Muay Thai, and MMA. He is currently 1-0 as a professional MMA fighter. Mark is a Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Andreh Anderson Black Belt.

is a 2nd degree Black Belt in Karate, Personal Trainer, Wellness Coach, and five time marathon runner. Into his fourth year of leading fitness boot camps, Scott specializes in group motivation helping individuals work together to achieve their personal fitness goals.


Raul Gracia

Professional and Amateur Boxing

Raul “The Matador” Gracia is the 1995 national amateur boxing champion, and held various Minnesota state Silver Gloves, upper Midwest Golden Gloves, Junior Olympic and USA Boxing titles throughout six consecutive years. The Puerto Rican-born southpaw represented the United States on the U.S. Team in the 1996 Pan Am Games and other international competitions. Gracia joins Gorilla Combat with an impressive amateur record of 115-10, and a professional record of 6-1.
