Judo
Is a Martial Art and Combat Sport
created in Japan in 1882.
Its most prominent feature is its competitive element, where the object is to
either throw
or takedown
one's opponent to the ground, immobilize or otherwise subdue one's opponent
with a grappling maneuver, or force an opponent to submit by joint locking or by
executing a pressure hold or choke. Strikes
and thrusts by hands and feet
as well as weapons defenses are a part of judo, but only in pre-arranged forms
(kata) and are not allowed
in judo competition or free practice (Randori).
The world-wide spread of judo has led to the development of a number of offshoots
such as Sambo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Practitioners of judo are called jūdōka.
Randori 乱
I s a term used in Japanese Martial Arts to describe free-style practice or sparring, it most often
refers to one-on-one sparring where partners attempt to resist and counter each
other's techniques.
The term literally means " Chaos Taking".
Wrestling
Wrestling is an ancient martial art that uses grappling type techniques such as clinch fighting, throws and takedowns, joint locks, pins and other grappling holds. A wrestling bout is a physical competition, between two (occasionally more) competitors or sparring partners, who attempt to gain and maintain a superior position. There are a wide range of styles with varying rules with both traditional historic and modern styles. Wrestling techniques have been incorporated into other martial arts as well as military hand-to-hand combat systems.

It also includes low-line kicks and knees strikes to the adversaries entire body, legs, shins, and groin. Also tactics and skills so as to avoid being taken to the ground and what to do to if you find yourself on the ground. Become aware of lines / types of attacks, vital points, body manipulations, joint locks, chokes and throws. Train to learn effective techniques to have a quick and successful outcome and escape. This is not for sport, but rather a street-oriented fighting system. The techniques have not been adapted for safety or conform to a set of rules for competition, this is to protect, defend and to use force against those who have intent to do harm. Common targets include the eyes, nose, mouth, throat, ears, temples, groin, ribs, neck, spine, hair, nervous system, large and small joints. This Gorilla Combative System is instructed in Private one-on- one, or in semi-private small groups.

As most street attacks are sudden and unexpected, it is essential to train your body to immediately 'react' to incoming attacks, letting ones limbs work themselves out in accordance to the training they have undergone.
