It forces the student to improvise, to think under pressure, and to keep their emotions under control. The role of sparring is educational but your physical fitness, mental awareness, and Heart will be tested and abilities will be worked. "Gorilla Combative & B.O.L.O." Gorilla CQC (Close Quarter Combat)
Gorilla Combative & B.O.L.O. Club:
Class works to combine multiple martial arts, derived from Filipino combat arts, honing in on their close quarter aspects. In order to provide the most effective and devastating methods for dealing with an attacker, GC B.O.L.O. : provides high-repetition, reaction-based training drills, which will ingrain life saving technique into one's muscle memory. As most street attacks are sudden and unexpected, it is essential to train your body to immediately 'react' to incoming attacks, letting ones limbs work themselves out in accordance to the training they have undergone. Students will learn various limb destructions, lines / types of attack, vital points, body manipulations, joint locks, while gaining awareness and developing the most devastating tool we have at our disposal - our entire body.
Mixed Martial Arts (MMA)
